We Got Our Freestyle Back!
During the pandemic, the music business took a serious beating, especially those of us who rely on live performances for a living.
Those On-Line concerts and Drive-Ins were okay, but not enough to sustain the market.
Little by little the phones started ringing. Very few artists sat it out and those who went out there were taking quite a risk.
Promoters were being restricted, with only 50% capacities allowed and absolutely no meet and greets, how did any of them ever agree to move forward beats me, but we thank you!
Now things are opening up. The world is a bit safer and most of us are vaccinated.
Freestyle events both club and concerts can be seen popping up everywhere, and if you feel up for it, and of course safe, please try and make it out to one of the many events kicking off.
FREESTYLE FANS... WHO ARE THEY?
Not only are Freestyle fans still out and about, still attending club and concert events, and though it's no longer like it was back in the day, it's still pretty significant.
Proof is in the amount of Freestyle shows still happening around the country and abroad, such as Canada and Brazil to name a couple. But let's not sleep on Germany, Mexico, the UK, Bolivia, and Colombia.
Also, keep in mind, the majority of the fans are no longer teens and early twenties, no way! In fact, from the stage we are starting to notice a sea of gray and shiny heads... well, at least with the guys.
But nonetheless, the fans are still here, showing as much love and support as they did back in the day, and I'd like to personally say... Thank you!

Just You, Me, and the Mic
I don't promote this Podcast as much as I probably should, especially seeing that I'll be approaching Episode 700 real soon.
So why not? And how come not too many people know about this Podcast, which I record practically every night, and what's it about?
Well, first off, the Goodnight Freestyle Podcast was created as a way for me to unwind after a usually long day. To talk about whatever is on my mind, Freestyle related or not.
If there's an issue with a promoter or artists, or maybe even a project I'm working on, well this is where I talk about it first!
With this Podcast I never track my listeners, so right now I couldn't tell you if I have two listeners, or two million, because I don't want it to ever to affect how I communicate with my listeners.
