I really enjoyed the article about Do you really need a booking agent. I believe that the answer is most definitely yes. Mangers of artists/groups are only able to do so much. Having a good booking agent would most likely secure more gigs.

I'd also like to say that was quite a lineup of legendary ladies for the people in Downey, CA. I've had the pleasure of meeting and seeing Trinere multiple times. I got the chance to see Angel at a gig in Visalia, CA a while back. I did get to see Lissette Melendez on a Freestyle Explosion Throwback Jam concert that came to Palm Desert CA, last year. Haven't seen Safire or Betty Dee as of yet, hope to someday soon.

That was quite a lineup of legends for the folks in Downey, Calif. to enjoy! As for section on agents and getting gigs, you were spittin'! Any aspiring freestyle musician should read every word of it.

Thank you, Marcus. I didn't want it to come off as me trying to sell my service, or acquire more exclusive artists, because honestly, I can only handle so many. But I do strongly believe that those who are out there trying to break in, need someone on their side. Someone that they can trust that if the calls come in, they won't lose out. I appreciate you reading the newsletter, and I'm always looking forward to your comments. Thank you
