🙇🏻♀️ The Boogaloo article really got me thinking. As an artist, it’s easy to focus on what’s next, but understanding where Freestyle came from gives the music even more meaning. Thank you for shining ✨ a light on the roots of our culture.
I'm gonna check out some of those boogaloo songs you posted. I never thought about a connection between that genre and freestyle.
It seems to make the most sense. Not so much the music itself, but rather the story behind it, and why it was formed. Thanks Marcus!
