In my opinion Freestyle is the best and most creative genre ever created. I have much respect for the audio engineers & producers who created this great sound. Back in the 80s, I had no idea of where to start writing or creating such melodies or remixes. The vocals were carefully added and most records had 4 or five versions. I know nothing about producing a concert or the expenses that are incurred, but I know that it cost me a lot of $$$ to put on the show that I put on for my clients. Most customers have no idea of what it takes to be great in this line of work. The best approach is where the sound is preserved and the acts shine. It's a win-win. The fan gets to see the artists and hear the music the way he/she remembers it, all at a reasonable price.

I have no problem with the track game. When you run these ensemble shows, the logistics of using a live band can be limiting in various ways. When I attended the Freestyle Explosion Throwback Jam in downtown Tampa back in August 2022, I saw that only Lisa Lisa and Stevie B used live bands given what I just read here, I understand why. I had no complaints then and I still don't have any complaints now. As long as the singers bring it on the mic, it's all good for me as a fan.

Artists get older.....their vocal ability weakest with time....using tracks might help them boost their acclaimed hit confidence.....they sometimes abuse it...for example....Betty d of sweet sensation.....her vocals are barely non-existing, compared to when she came out.....She relies Solely on tracks for her live show....which is kind of insulting....cause if you can't do a decent live show alone....then...don't do it....cause it's kind of insulting and embarrassing watching it.....yout post about $$$$ and generating profits its understandable also......in the end....fans just want to physically see how their idols have evolved with tine.....we don't expect them to be the same as back in the 80's..but we do want our money's worth..
